Maker Series: Artisanal Firewood - This Is That - YouTube

This fantastic satirical video perfectly shows, why we created our guitar library. Composers can quickly sketch and layout these sort of background bads, that are being used in lots of showcase videos.

Plug-ins On Your iPad, iPhone - And on Mac App Store, Too?
2015-06-09
Is this article the first sign that we will see really high-class instruments like those from our friends at u-he come to iOS??
Here’s the description from the iOS 9 documentation:
The Audio Unit extension point allows your app to provide musical instruments, audio effects, sound generators, and more for use within apps like GarageBand, Logic, and other Audio Unit host apps. The extension point also brings a full audio plug-in model to iOS and lets you sell Audio Units on the App Store.

Written Russian
2014-06-10
Here's our company name in Russian. Although I of course have to rely on what Google Translate gives me...
Is this correct? Or is this a literal translation that doesn't do justice to the actual (musical) meaning of the words?
Framework roughly done
2014-05-22
I'm working on a new project in the percussion (more in the synthetic side than the traditional recorded side) loop design category and today I've wrangled Kontakt into submission.
I now have a simple but powerful step sequencer the way I want it, basic modulation setup and the effects (the delay anyway) the way I always envisioned them.
Now I can start focusing on the sound material and the patterns that work.
Learning is fun. And much more rewarding than many other activities...
Beautiful!

Written Korean
2014-04-10
I wondered today, what our name and our product name would look like in written Korean and thanks to the translate service provided by a large search engine it's easier than ever to find it.
So, without further ado, here it is:
First our name "Good Loops" (capital letters looked the same in Korean so I left it the way I typed):
And also "Guitar Kitchen" which I personally think is visually much more poetic:
What do you think?

Poing! A fun concept for an instrument
2013-11-19
The guys over on Cinematique Instruments have created a really fun and inspiring instrument called Poing! showing off what Kontakt can do!
Well done, guys!
I'm sure you'll enjoy the video just as much as I did:
Download the Guitar Kitchen manual

I've had several people ask for the manual separately from the main download.
That's why I've made it available for download here
Downloads now in regular .zip format
2013-09-17
I've finally managed to convince the server to accept and replace regular .zip versions as opposed to the .dmg versions. The .dmg had a nice little visual backdrop when opened which I've included as a screenshot here, so it can get a deserving resting place.
It's now much simpler for Windows users to open the library and I don't have to handle this individually as a support issue anymore.
Thank you for all your patience!
Happy strumming!

Nice little feature over on the guardian on the history of modern contemporary music. A lot of it has to do with guitars...

We stumbled across this song and fell in love instantly, but when it turned out from a duo of acoustic guitar and vocals into a small ensemble piece that did it for us. The rest of their music is very nice as well.
And with the video its even more enjoyable:
